BURKETT CHARGED WITH FIREARM AND OTHER OFFENCES

Police have arrested and formally charged Ian MacDonald Burkett, 39 years of Wotton, Christ Church for the offences of:

1. Possession of a .45 firearm
2. Possession of a quantity of ammunition without a permit; and
3. Going equipped.

Ian Burkett appeared at the Oistins Magistrates Court on Friday July 11th, 2014 and was remanded until August 8th, 2014.

MAN EASTMOND CHARGED WITH FIREARM AND OTHER OFFENCES

Police have arrested and charged Nicholas Eastmond 27 years of Fordes Road, Brittons Hill, St. Michael, for the following offences:

1. Two counts of robbery committed on July 5th, 2014;
2. Theft of precious metal; and
3. Making a false statement of ownership.

Nicholas Eastmond appeared at the Oistins Magistrates Court on Friday July 11th, 2014 and was remanded to reappear at the Oistins Court on 6th August 2014 and the District A Court on July 15th 2014.
