Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of Tristan DaCosta Barker, 18 years, of Jackman Road, Wavell Avenue, Black Rock, St. Michael, which occurred around 9:10 pm on Friday 16 May 2014, at Well Road, Wavell Avenue, Black Rock.

From initial investigations, Barker was sitting on the step of a residence, when another young man accosted him, and apparently stabbed him. Barker died at the scene. The young man is in custody assisting with further investigations.
