The Barbados Rugby Football Union (BRFU) is pleased to announce the continuing sponsorship agreement between themselves and Banks Beer.
On Wednesday evening, Banks representative Charles Walcott handed over the new playing kit for the Men’s National Rugby Team to team member Stephen Millar.
The BRFU is pleased to announce that, starting next week, you can also purchase official replicas of the Barbados Rugby jersey from many of the Cave Shepherd/Ganzee outlets on the island, as well as online from G Force, visitors to the island would be able to purchase the jerseys duty-free.
A BRFU spokesman said, “We have a long-standing relationship with Banks Beer and we are thrilled that they continue to support Rugby in Barbados. Over the years they have supported us both domestically and at the National Team level.”
This Saturday, May 14, Barbados will face Guyana at 4 pm on the Historic Garrison Savannah, resplendent in their new Banks kit, in the opening rounds of the 2014 NACRA Championship Tournament. The next leg of the competition will see the Bajan squad travelling to Trinidad for the match on May 24.
