PALIG SUPPORTS CARIBBEAN BUSINESS EXECUTIVES SEMINAR ON VENTURE CAPITAL FINANCING
The Caribbean Centre for Money and Finance (CCMF) is pleased to welcome Pan-American Life Insurance Company of Trinidad and Tobago, a member company of Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), as the platinum sponsor for its Third Caribbean Business Executives Seminar (CBES) being held on April 4th 2014, at The Hyatt Regency Port of Spain. The event’s sessions will critically examine the issue of venture capital financing and its relevance to regional growth.
Pan-American Life’s participation is well received as CCMF advocates that a collaborative approach among the different players in the financial services sector is beneficial to contributing towards creating sustainable economic value for Caribbean companies.
“We believe very strongly that the Caribbean has enormous potential and that was one of driving factors behind our decision to enter this market,” said Miguel Sierra, Pan-American Life’s CEO and Managing Director-Caribbean. “Forums like this one allow for the type of discussion that is required to address some of the region’s on-going challenges and it also helps to identify the opportunities for growth that can result from those challenges.”
