Situated on St Vincent’s windward side, the Peruvian Vale station is located near the new Argyle Airport facility. It is anticipated that when the airport is completed activity will increase on this side of the island. In addition to the new service station, the complex consists of an automotive accessory shop and Triple S Supermarket. The new facility is operated and managed by Retailers Mr. and Mrs. Martin Labode of Harmony Investments, a major wholesale/distribution business with a chain of three (3) Triple S Supermarkets and a minimart in St. Vincent. Another local project is the recently upgraded RUBIS LPG facility at Arnos Vale which now includes shot blasting and spray painting operations that improve the appearance of the Rubigas cylinders.

Addressing the over 40 guests who included members of Government, customers, business partners and members of staff, Mr Nicholls highlighted RUBIS’ continued commitment to the region.

He explained, “Over the past two years RUBIS has rebranded and upgrade all 67 Texaco service stations in the Eastern Caribbean and 39 in the Western Caribbean. Later this year, we will rebrand 53 other stations in Jamaica. Including the French West Indies and Bermuda, RUBIS will have a portfolio of over 220 service stations in the Caribbean. We continue to look for new opportunities across the region.” He added, “With each upgrade will also be increased focus on the delivery of superior customer service to our valuable clients.”

Peruvian Vale Rubis Service Station will offer customers quality service and a product line which will include Ultra Tec Gasoline and Diesel, a fuel additive specifically formulated to keep engines clean and running like new, improving fuel economy. Customers will also benefit from the availability of TOTAL Lubricants and Rubigas 20 lbs cylinders.
