GLOCK23 SLICKGUNS

1. Police between January 31, 2014, and February 1, 2014, seized 2 firearms in different circumstances.

Andrew Henry Mark Anthony Phillips 36yrs of Rollins Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael was arrested and charged for the following offences committed on February 01, 2014

Possession a firearm with a licence and Thirteen (13) rounds of ammunition without a valid permit.

{IMAGE VIA - slickguns.com} About 2:25 am on February 01, 2014, police were on patrol when they encountered Phillips in the Villa Road, Brittons Hill area. He ran on seeing the police and was caught. He was searched and one Glock 23 pistol and 13 rounds of 40 caliber ammunition were seized.

He appeared at the District A Magistrate Court on Monday February 3, 2014 and was remanded until March 03, 2014.

2. Michael Junior Brewster, 32 years, of Block 9E, Neptune Road, Deacons Farm, Saint Michael was arrested and charged for the following offences:

Possession of a firearm with a licence and 2 counts possession of ammunition without a valid permit (45 rounds in total). These rounds included M16, .303 and .53 caliber.
Possession of a firearm without a licence and 2 counts possession of ammunition without a valid permit (45 rounds in total). These rounds included M16, .303 and .53 caliber.

During investigations involving Brewster, the above mentioned articles, one .9mm automatic and the ammunition were seized.

Brewster was also jointly charged with Kedar Andre Holloway 29 years of Block 2D Sunny Side Court, Deacons Fernihurst , St. Michael for the following offences:

  • 2 counts of aggravated burglary (one of these includes an Agg. Burglary at Carlton and A One on December 13, 2013.)
  • 1 count of assault with intent to rob.

Kedar Andre Holloway was charged for the offence of: Robbery – on the 26th January

Brewster and Holloway appeared at the District A Magistrate Court on Monday February 3, 2014 and they were remanded until March 03, 2014.
