Did you watch the and mystery “” It was a marvellous study of illusions worthy of David Copperfield, mentalists sharper than Krespin and why tricks are usually successful – all wrapped around robberies carried out in front of the audience and police who were bunglers… I’ve watched it many times and learned something new each viewing, I was especially reminded of it when spoke at Limegrove’s roofdeck the other night for the anniversary of a Media House which came to be after Bajan Reporter’s website launch in December 2009.

The Minister had a clearly conciliatory tone for the Media, saying that it is important for journalists and Government to work hand in hand, so much so, he made a bold statement how advertising from the Civil Service should no longer be limited to print only {CLICK ON AUDIO FOR FULL STATEMENT};-
Inniss also indicated ForEx would be coming to Barbados in about 12 to 15 months, via teaching Bajans to design cartoons and export their visual talent abroad {CLICK ON AUDIO FOR FULL STATEMENT};-
The thing is, HOW would they be enforced? WHEN does the Government Advertising include Web versions and what is being done to ensure the Civil Service embraces new technology? Most importantly – WHY is he seeking to seduce the public and reporters?

Was it because VOB made him a top story on 20/01/2014 when he was attempting to justify Ministerial wages? His petty repartee was Utilities would be unpaid and his family left to starve, this can seem as cavalier as Marie Antoinette’s epithet of urging the people to quaff cake if the larders are bare {CLICK ON AUDIO FOR FULL STATEMENT};-
When one considers this remark was made and then a few days later he offers the salve of cartooning and money for media coffers via Civil Service, one can only wonder if this was done to try and make the Press forget his condescending remarks which are inappropriate given that 3,000 workers will wonder how to pay their Electricity and what to feed their families come next month not so far away?
