Senta and her group from New York were touring the island after their cruise ship docked last week. When their taxi driver revealed the nature and value of the tree, she was intrigued.
“I felt the need to etch my name in something that will remain permanent in time,” Senta said.
With the help of her friends, she managed to scale the massive tree and inscribed her name on its bark.’
