Multiple Celebrations at UWI’s Vice-Chancellor’s Awards

Five outstanding faculty members and one Research Centre were in the spotlight at The UWI Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence.   The event marked the 20th anniversary of these annual awards with the six 2013 awardees taking the total number of those honoured to 101. Some 300 well-wishers, turned out to join the celebrations. Sir George Alleyne, Chancellor of The University, Ewart Williams, Chairman of The UWI St. Augustine Campus and Distinguished Fellow, and President of the Chinese Agricultural Science, University Professor KE Bingsheng were among the evening’s special guests.
