Police have arrested and charged Guyanese national Gordon Andrew Roberts, 33 years of No Fix Place of Abode, with the offences of:

1. Arson – relating to the destruction of Shonette William’s house by fire on the 16 November 2013; and
2. Assaulting Shonette Williams on 16 November 2013.

He is expected to appear at the District A Magistrates Court on Monday 25 November 2013.

DECOMPOSED BODY OF A MAN DISCOVERED

The badly decomposed body of a man was discovered about 1:45 pm on Sunday 24 November 2013, at the rear of a business located on Spooners Hill, St. Michael, by an employee of that business.

Investigations are continuing and a post mortem is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.
