ILLEGAL NARCOTICS FOUND BY BARBADOS CUSTOMS IN A HAGGATT HALL CONTAINER

Drug Squad personnel are investigating the discovery of 210 lbs of compressed cannabis found by Customs personnel on duty at a business located at Roberts Road, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael

Around 9.40 am of Thursday 28 November 2013, Customs personnel while checking a container located on premises of the business place, discovered 63 packages of the illegal drug in 3 duffle bags and 2 polythene bags. The container was delivered to the business on 26 November 2013, after arriving in the island from Jamaica.
