New Goal for DR’s Deputy Minister of Industry & Commerce: Creating a business in a day
Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ignacio Mendez, who is in charge of the office for the support of small business, says that the government will soon be providing a facility for setting up small businesses in as short a timeframe as one day, down from the present minimum of seven days.
Mendez said that what costs RD$30,000 today will then cost RD$2,500 for the smallest companies.
The DR Government official added the program, which he expected would be available soon, would eliminate the steps that do not contribute to the final results.
Mendez also announced the celebration of a Small Business Event at Sambil Mall in Santo Domingo from 21-25 November.
