10 Saints, The Caribbean’s only premium craft beer confirmed orders and market entry into 3 new European countries this week while exhibiting at Caribbean Exports sponsored ; the biggest trade fair in the world for food and beverages. Orders were received from France, Italy and the home of beer Germany.
This landmark deal with Berlin based Selection Prestige GMBH is historical; the first Caribbean beer to be marketed in Germany through a German importer. Coal to Newcastle, snow to the eskimo’s and now Caribbean beer for the Germans. Benjamin Beermann, CEO of Selection Prestige said “the German trade and consumers will be interested in 10 SAINTS rum heritage and the oak aging process and will enjoy the balanced , subtle flavours of the rum finish lager beer”. Initially, 10 SAINTS will be available in trendy quality bars and clubs in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne with national availability via on line sales.
Beermann added “the availability of in top quality outlets will increase the awareness of young German professionals about Barbados as a luxury, glamorous vacation destination” Glyn Partridge Founder of 10 Saints Brewery Co. said ” Very few foreign beers are available in the German market and I am delighted that after only 18 months from launch the 10 SAINTS team has achieved the impossible” Glyn also observed “niche luxury products with a unique proposition is the way forward for the Barbados manufacturing sector.”

Buyers were attracted to Caribbean Exports showcase stand and subsequently impressed by the unique aging process and deliciously different flavour of 10 SAINTS beer. of Caribbean Export Development Agency said “This has been a very useful event to present companies from across the Caribbean to international buyers and I am delighted that 10 SAINTS has had a succesful show!“
