The Honey Jam Barbados TV Show is back! Despite lack of Corporate Responsibility…

The Honey Jam Barbados TV Show will air every Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), and repeat on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m.

The show will also be available online at www.islestream.com.

The seven-episode programme, which is produced by Skai MultiMedia and Get Bizzy Studios, will feature the November 2012 Honey Jam Barbados event.

According to producer of the television show, Shamkoe Pilé, “We captured the amazing experience that every girl receives when she participates in the Honey Jam Barbados event. The show also gives viewers a behind the scenes look at this female developmental singing showcase.

Nothing is left out; the television show features the auditions, the vocal workshops, the music industry development seminars as well as interviews and performances with the 19 Honey Jam Barbados ladies,” she explained.

The producer added that the television programme was an important component of the Honey Jam Barbados experience.

When the actual event ends, the television show provides each artiste with an additional platform for exposure. The girls are able to reach new audiences because many of the people who watch the television show would not have attended the event. They are also able to expose their talents to new markets as we broadcast regionally,” she outlined.

However, Ms. Pilé lamented that the television programme “is extremely costly to produce” and thanked the show’s sponsors: Claytons Kola Tonic, ICBL and Harrison’s Cave Barbados for not only supporting the Honey Jam Barbados TV Show, but for contributing to the career development of each artiste.
