FIREARMS SEIZED BY BARBADOS POLICE, THREE ASSISTING INVESTIGATIONS
The Royal Barbados Police Force has made a significant breakthrough into the smuggling of illegal weapons into the country.
Members of the Drug Squad on Tuesday 24 September, 2013, executed a search warrant at a Christ Church residence and seized eighteen different types firearms of various calibers.
{DEMO ONLY} A quantity of ammunition of various calibers was also seized. The firearms had been disassembled to accommodate the method used for the smuggling operation.
Three men are currently in custody assisting with investigations into this discovery.
