28 YEAR OLD MAN AND 19 YEAR OLD WOMAN CHARGED RE – AKEEM CADOGAN INVESTIGATION

Members of the Major Crimes Unit have arrested and charged Harold Dewayne Joseph, 28 years of Uppers Dukes Alley, St. Michael, for the offence of Murder in relation to the death of Akeem Cadogan, 22 years, of Spruce Street, Bridgetown, on the 1 June 2013.

On that day, a body later indentified to be that of the Akeem Cadogan, was found at Duncombe, St. Thomas shortly before 8.00 pm on Saturday 1 June 2013. At the time an appeal was launched to ascertain the identity of the unknown body which bore a gunshot wound.

Also Police have arrested Cairo Rose Brome, 19 years, of Battalleys, St. Peter for the offence of aiding an offender in the commission of an offence. This charge is in relation to the Murder investigation of Akeem Cadogan, where her close friend Harold Dewayne Joseph was charged for Murder.

Joseph and Brome are expected to appear at Magistrate Court on Monday 16 September 2013.
