HBO LATIN AMERICA & TIVI FORM BROADCAST AGREEMENT
HBO Latin America and TiVi S.A. – the fast-growing television provider in Haiti – have formed a partnership to transmit a variety of HBO and MAX channels on its pay TV service, already available for customers to subscribe to as of last month.
Through this agreement, TiVi customers are able to subscribe to the HBO/MAX Premium Package, which includes HBO Caribbean (a feed produced specifically for the Caribbean), HBO (East), HBO Plus, HBO Family, MAX (East) and MAX Prime (East). Subscribers can access all of HBO’s exclusive and award-winning content, including original series, films and documentaries, along with comedy specials, concerts and top blockbuster movies. The HBO/MAX Premium Package offers over 300 new titles per month, all with no commercial breaks.
“HBO Latin America is pleased to have partnered with TiVi to expand its presence in Haiti and bring its customers the best in entertainment and quality premium programming, such as the second season of The Newsroom, which premiered last month day-and-date with the United States. Adding to the list of HBO original series which premiered simultaneously with the U.S. are True Blood and Game of Thrones earlier this year,” said Javier Figueras, Corporate Vice President of Sales for HBO Latin America.
“TiVi combines quality and variety with the best price in the market, so we are thrilled to expand our offer and announce our partnership with HBO Latin America. This will enable us to provide our customers with the best in premium entertainment with HBO, delivered through a fiber optic backbone throughout the island,” said Charles-Edouard Denis, CEO of TiVi.
Joining several other cable operators in the Caribbean who have already established agreements with HBO, TiVi is the third affiliate partner in Haiti to offer its subscribers quality programming from HBO.
