In the afternoon of Friday 2nd August 2013, the female body which was discovered at North Point, St. Lucy, has been positively identified as that of , 54 years of Bagatelle Terrace, St. Thomas, who was reported missing to the Police.

Doctor Wayne Welch charged

Police have arrested and formally charged Dr. Wayne Welch, 60 years, of Mount Wilton, St. Thomas, for 3 counts of Indecent Assault allegedly committed towards 3 females. These incidents are alleged to have occurred between February to July 2012.

He appeared at the District A Magistrate’s court today Monday 12 August, 2013, and was granted bail in the sum of $13,000.00 with 1 surety, to return to Court on 4th November 2013. His conditions are that he surrender his travel document and have no contact with the complainants.
