Memories of Celtic Festival 2013 at Limegrove: JEANA LESLIE & SIOBHAN MILLER
Celtic Festival Barbados celebrates a somewhat turbulent 300-year history of the Celts in the Caribbean. Many were sent there by Cromwell as indentured servants to work the sugar plantations and today, their descendants have Celtic blood. Some of them were knicknamed the Redlegs. There is a Scotland District in Barbados, and a St Andrews Parish and the Redleg Descendants of the Scots.
