HBO ANNOUNCES ITS AUGUST MOVIE LINEUP PREMIERES IN THE CARIBBEAN

  • Battlefield America (Cinedigm) – Sean Lewis (Marques Houston), is a young, charismatic, successful businessman who lands a community service sentence and falls in with a group of misfit kids who need mentoring. With the help of professional dance instructor Sara (Mekia Cox), he works to get the kids ready for a big underground dance competition. Directed by Chris Stokes.
  • Dark Shadows (Warner Bros. Pictures) – An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection. Directed by Tim Burton.

  • The Odd Life of Timothy Green (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) – Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton) bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim – and their small town of Stanleyville –learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts. Directed by Peter Hedges.
