“Walkin’ In My Own Shoes” is a Jazz and vocal showcase running for the 2nd year at the Frank Collymore Hall. It’s the brain child of Vocalist & Vocal trainer and is packed with exciting performances, musical drama and original compositions showcasing singers in training (varying levels) to professional singers, musicians and actors.
The event will be held at the Frank Collymore Hall on Sunday, 9th June, 2013 at 6pm.
“Walkin’ In My Own Shoes” – a Jazz & Vocal Showcase will be a fusion of Jazz artiste and her protégé Voices 101 students. This year, Kellie will be backed by the 1688 Quintet. Guest performances this year will include the Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union Chorale and the all male Dynamic group, G-Syndicate.
East Point Productions is the producer of quality standard productions in the area of vocal training and vocal performance.
On the evening shoes will be collected and donated to the Variety Children’s Club of Barbados School Aid Program as well as to the Loving Hearts Orphanage in Haiti. Patrons are asked to walk with new/used shoes on the night of the event to donate to this worthy cause.
