IMMIGRATION OFFICER CHARGED BY BARBADIAN POLICE

1. Man Charged for Serious Bodily Harm (SBH)

(FILE IMAGE - ksee24.com) Jabarie Kemar King, 25 years of Block 26 D, Haynesville, St. James who was charged for the offence of Serious Bodily Harm in relation to the stabbing of Andre Gabb on 17 May 2013 at Black Rock, St. Michael, appeared at the District A Magistrate Court on Tuesday 21 May 2013 and was remanded until 18 June 2013.

2. Men charged for Robbery of Tourist

Corey Jamar Coppin, 26 years of Lead Vale, Christ Church, and Jaleel Antoine Kellman 17 years of Hinks Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael who were charged jointly for the offence of Robbery of a German national, on 11 May 2013 at St. Lawrence Gap, Ch. Ch., appeared at the District A Magistrate Court on Tuesday 21 May 2013.

Coppin pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 9 month in prison.

Kellman pleaded not guilty and received bail in the sum of $3000.00 with 1 surety, to return to Court on 5 September 2013.

3. IMMIGRATION OFFICER CHARGED

Immigration Officer Ryan Rudolph Jordan, 38 years of Bagatelle Park, St. James, has been arrested and charged for the offence of ‘Misconduct in a Public Office‘. This is part of the on-going investigation into the Human trafficking cases of 5 of female Guyanese nationals in April 2013, after a police operation at a Bar at Nelson Street, Bridgetown on 18 April 2013.

Jordan appeared at the District A Magistrate Court and was granted Bail in the sum of $5000.00 with 1 surety to return on 5 September 2013.
