MAN CHARGED, RE – SHOOTING AT CHAPMAN LANE

Marvin Marcus Victor, 27 yrs, of 4th Avenue Pickwick Gap, Westbury Road, St. Michael, was arrested and charged for the following offences arising out of a shooting which injured Jabari Wickham, 27 years, about 7:40 pm on 13-03-30:

• Unlawful used a firearm and
• Serious bodily harm

(FILE IMAGE) About 7:40 pm on Saturday 30 March 2013, Jabari Wickham 24 years of Bank Hall, St. Michael, received a gunshot injury to his lower back, while at Chapman Lane, St. Michael, after two men rode through the community on a motorcycle and fired a number of shots at a group of persons.

Victor appeared at the District A Magistrate Court on Tuesday April 2, 2013, and was remanded to reappear on April 30, 2013.

ACCIDENT UPDATE – OCCURRED: 23 DECEMBER 2013

Police have arrested and charged Anderson Glenroy Gibbons, 33 years of Church Street, Speightstown, St. Peter for the following offences:

• 3 counts of Causing Death by dangerous driving
• Dangerous driving
• Driving without reasonable consideration
• Driving without due care and attention
• Having no drivers licence
• Having no insurance.

Gibbons appeared at the Holetown/District E Magistrate Court and was granted bail in the sum of $25,000.

The accident claimed the lives of Sherese Alleyne 19 years, Nakira Harewood, 17 years and Kion Alleyne 14 months. It occurred on December 23, 2012, on Gibbes Road, St. Peter.
