St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino synonymous with Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve”
The St. Kitts Marriott Resort & the Royal Beach Casino formed a critical alliance with the Joseph N France General Hospital to give back to their community. The In-service Education Department at the JNF Hospital is currently conducting a six-week Management Programmed for health care personnel in managerial positions at the Health Institutions (JN France General Hospital and Health Centers). The program is scheduled for February 11th to March 22nd, 2013.
As part of the program, members of this department just visited the resort to learn more about their Management techniques and how it impacts the hotel and relates it to management activities currently being utilized by their organizations. The exercise was facilitated by different leaders of the resort.
“I was approached in January and asked if there was any way that associates from the JNF Hospital could come to the Resort and meet some of our Senior Leaders and get some information on the way we manage. I was more than happy to oblige and excited to have a team of hospital workers in our Resort. The session was a FANTASTIC SUCCESS! We had over 15 members from the hospital attend the session. The Director of Sales & Marketing, Executive Chef, Spa Manager, Human Resources Supervisor & Human Resource Generalist were all gracious hosts and shared plenty of information which gave the Hospital staff a lot to work with”, says Shani Juman Yassin, Director of Human Resources.
