RENOWNED AUTHOR AND SPEAKER, JEFFREY “LAUNDRYMEN” ROBINSON, TO VISIT ANTIGUA
Jeffrey Robinson, described by the British Bankers’ Association as ‘the world’s leading financial crime author’, will be visiting Antigua 3-4 April, where he will deliver some hard hitting messages to the Heads of Financial Intelligence Units in the English-speaking Caribbean. Hosted by the Office of National Drugs and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) in Antigua and funded by the Department for International Development’s Caribbean Criminal Assets Recovery Programme (CCARP), the heads will be meeting over two days to share best practice and experiences in asset forfeiture, money laundering and proceeds of crime.
Mr Robinson is a recognised expert and speaker on organised crime and money laundering. His seminal work, The Laundrymen published in 1995, showed the extent of global money laundering. It is considered as the definitive book on the subject and is used as a text in universities and law schools. He is also widely known as an outstanding and entertaining speaker.
