Barbadian male charged for drug offences at GAIA

On Wednesday March 20, 2013, Jermain Hartley Cox, 24 years, unemployed of Crane, St. Philip, was arrested and charged by members of the Drug Squad for the following offences whilst at the Grantley Adams International Airport.

1. Possession of cocaine (1/2 kilo (500 gms))
2. Trafficking of
3. Possession with intent to supply
4. Importation.

(FILE IMAGE) On Wednesday 20 March 2013, members of the Drug Squad interviewed Cox on his arrival from Trinidad and Tobago about 6.50 am. His luggage was subsequently searched and the illegal drug discovered concealed therein. Total weight 500 grammes or ½ kg.
