Showcase of Canadian Food and Beverage Products at Hilton Barbados – February 20 & 21

On February 20th and 21st, Caribbean partners, importers and buyers will have the opportunity to view a wide array of new Canadian food and beverage products in the island. In addition to crowd-favourites like seafood, meat, poultry, Canadian salt fish, beverages, spirits, snacks and desserts on display, samples of the latest innovations in gluten-free, kosher, halaal and vegetarian food products will also be available to potential importers and distributors.

Commenting on this initiative, Jean-Pierre Hamel, Senior Trade Commissioner at the High Commission of Canada in Barbados said “Canadian food producers are known for the quality of their products and we are delighted to be working with our exporters to bring to Barbados and to the Caribbean the best of what our land, lakes and oceans have to offer”.

Local food professionals are invited to come and visit the Canadian Food & Beverage Showcase which will feature 14 Canadian firms, each interesting in establishing new partnerships to distribute their products in the island.
