CEO and Manager for Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean, Barry O’Brien, indicated a number of additions and no minuses are in store for the Bajan branch of the Bigger, Better Network… Digicel has made a formal bid and awaiting a decision to enter the telecoms market of Myanmar (formerly Burma) as Digicel continues strengthening its legs in the Caribbean, South America (e.g. El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama) and the Pacific Rim (e.g.Tonga and Papua New Guinea).

The CEO also indicated since the Bajan division is growing, they need a larger operating space, so from Hastings to new Headquarters close to Ace H&B Hardware in Warrens is where they’ll soon be changing their address…
