First Road Fatality of 2013 in Barbados – St John motorcyclist succumbs to injuries
A two vehicle collision resulting in the first fatality for the year occurred about 08:50 am on Wednesday 6 February 2013, at the Massiah Street junction, St. John.
The deceased is Raymond Lewis, of Clifton Hall, St. John. He was at the time driving a motorcycle (lone rider) when he became involved in an accident with a motor van driven by William Tryhane, 77 years of Haynes Hill, St. John.

{IMAGE VIA – i995fm.com} Lewis was transported to the QEH by ambulance and he was reported to be in a critical condition. Later, he succumbed to his injuries while at the QEH.
Investigations are continuing.
