1. MAN CHARGED FOR MURDER

Detectives attached to the Northern Division have arrested and charged Dave Henderson Powers, 42 years of Division Drive, Eden Lodge, St. Michael for the following offences arising out of the investigation into the unnatural death of Kari Nolan Cumberbatch which occurred on Wednesday January 16, 2013 by the Cin Cin restaurant at Prospect St. James:

• Murder of Kari Cumberbatch
• Attempted murder of Alvena Powers
• Kidnapping of Alvena Powers
• Illegal possession of a firearm
• Illegal possession of ammunition.

Dave Powers appeared at the Holetown Magistrate Court on Tuesday January 22, 2013.

2. TWO MEN CHARGED WITH BURGLARY

Marlon Llewellyn Wiltshire, 35 years of Robinson Close, St Stephens Hill, Black Rock, Saint Michael and Jason Alphonso Brathwaite, 31 years of Reece Land, Pioneer Road, Bush Hall, Saint Michael, were both arrested for the offence of burglary.

Wiltshire and Brathwaite went before the District A Magistrate Court on Tuesday 22 January 2013.
