1 BARBADIAN FOUND DEAD AND ANOTHER IN CUSTODY IN JAMAICA

Antonio Ricardo Vaughan, 30 years (deceased) of Husbands, St. James has been found dead in an area in Kingston, Jamaica on 4th October 2012. His body was wrapped in a tarpaulin and reported to have multiple stabs to the head.

Another Barbadian Stephen Michael STUART, 25 years of Rosemont Deacons, St. Michael is presently remanded in custody after appearing at a Kingston Magistrate Court and is due to reappear in January 2013.

Both men are wanted for questioning by detectives of the RBPF in relation to a shooting death (murder) and they fled to Jamaica on 20th April 2008. Since then the Force has been in constant contact with its Jamaica counterparts to locate the two men.

Stuart was arrested by the Jamaican police for the criminal offences of robbery with aggravation, attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm and shooting with intent sometime after June 2010 when the offences occurred. He appeared before a Magistrate Court and was remanded.
