Jamaican and St Philip men charged – Barbados Law hold ’nuff herb

Domonye Angelettie Venius Harlemm 29 year old Jamaican student has been arrested and charged on 18 October 2012 by members of the Drug Squad for the following offences:

1. Possession

2. Possession with intent to supply

3. Trafficking, and

4. Importation of 4 ½ lbs of cannabis.

Harlemm arrived in the island by air from Jamaica on 13 October, 2012 about 9.30 pm and was interviewed by the Police. He cleared Immigration and was interviewed by members of the Drug Squad. He was then taken to a Police station were a search revealed one (1) taped package and 15 wrapped pellets all containing cannabis were discovered hidden in his underwear. He was referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he subsequently passed out 148 packages of cannabis which he digested. Total weight 4 ½ lbs.

St. Philip Man charged for Drug Offences

Kyle Antonio Patrick Knight 22 years of Thickets Tenantry, St. Philip, was arrested and charged for the following offences:

• 2 counts of Possession
• 2 counts of Possession with Intent to supply
• 2 counts of Trafficking
• 1 count of cultivation; and
• 1 count of possession of apparatus.

{FILE IMAGE} On 18 October 2012, the Police executed a warrant at the subject’s residence at Thickets Tenantry where 3 lbs of cannabis was discovered in a containers along with a pair of scissors.

Further investigations led to a canefield in the area, where 22 cannabis plants were discovered growing. The plants ranged in heights of 6 inches to 3 feet. Also, 293 seedlings (about 1 inch in height) were also found under cultivation in containers. Total weight 8 lbs.
