{UPDATED} 2 Barbadians face charges for drugs in container & Liquidation Corpse ID’d by Family
MEN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES
Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged on Wednesday 5th September 2012 two men in connection with the seizure of 664 lbs of cannabis found in a container at the Bridgetown Port on Monday 3 September 2012.
They are:
1. Corrie McCaulay Brathwaite, 36 years of Dash Valley, St George; and
2. Dwight Anderson Michael Clarke, 33 years of Mangrove, St. Philip.
Both men are employed as Customs Brokers.
They have been jointly charged for the offences of:
• Possession;
• Possession with intent to supply;
• Trafficking; and
• Importation of cannabis.
COURT RESULTS FOR MEN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES
Corrie McCaulay Brathwaite, 36 years of Dash Valley, St George; and
Dwight Anderson Michael Clarke, 33 years of Mangrove, St. Philip appear in the District A Magistrate Court on Thursday September 6, 2012, and were granted bail in the sum of $500,000.00 with 2 sureties each, to return to Court on November 5, 2012.
They were jointly charged for the offences of:
• Possession;
• Possession with intent to supply;
• Trafficking; and
• Importation of 664 lbs of cannabis.
BODY IDENTIFIED
The body of the man who was found in the storage area in the Liquidation Centre at Bay Street, St. Michael was been identified to be the body of Clinton Omar Norton, 31 years of Wellington Street, Bridgetown.
His body was formally identified today Thursday 6th September 2012, by family members.
