Santo Domingo’s Leader announces his Code of Ethics, signs into Law

The Dominican Republic‘s new Code of Ethics formulated during their recent Government Cabinet Meeting and was duly signed by their President, Vice President, Margarita Cedeno de Fernandez and the officials present.

In the proposal Medina says that he will work with honesty, fairness, efficiency, transparency and dedication.

The initiative instructs the President to present his sworn declaration of assets within 30 days and demonstrate the origin of these assets before, during and after the end of his term of office, as well as presenting annual fiscal reports and tax commitments.
