{URGENT} Police in Barbados chase leads of St Philip Unnatural Death in Marchfield
1. ARREST, RE: UNNATURAL DEATH
Detectives in the Southern Division have made a breakthrough into the investigation surrounding the unnatural death of Laurette Diana Skeete. Her body was discovered on Saturday 4 August 2012 at her home at Marchfield Close, St. Philip. Anthony Frederick Francis, 47 years, a carpenter of Marchfield Close, St. Philip, has been arrested and charged with the offence of Serious Bodily Harm in relation to this investigation. A post mortem is to be conducted.
Francis is expected to appear at the District “C” Magistrate Court later this Wednesday 8 August, 2012.
2. MAN SHOT
The Royal Barbados Police Force continues to probe the circumstances surrounding the shooting of Marwin Delaware, 24 years of Vauxhall, Christ Church around 7:45 am on Saturday 4 August 2012, near Exmouth, Spring Garden, St. Michael.
{FILE IMAGE – Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Martindale’s Rd} Delaware received a gunshot injury to the upper right section of his abdomen. He was rushed to the QEH where he underwent surgery and is said to be in a stable condition.
