3 way collision ends Kadooment – Road fatality on Government Hill takes a senior citizen

Barbados police were hoping for a Kadooment without incident, however, such was not the case last night… A senior citizen is this island’s latest road fatality. A three car collision resulting in death, which occurred about 8:25 pm on Monday 6 August 2012, on Government Hill Road, St. Michael.

{IMAGE VIA – sknlist.com} The deceased is Joan Alleyne 71 years, of 107 Warners Park, Christ Church. She was a passenger in one of the vehicles driven by Derrick Lowe, 39 years of Richmond Gap, St. Michael. He complained of pains to his neck, right hand and right foot. His two other passengers complained of pains about their bodies.

A second vehicle was driven by Kenneth Forde, 53 years of Murrell Gap, Belmont Road, St. Michael. He complained of pain to the left side of his chest.

The third vehicle was driven by Zamani Williams, 39 years, of Government Hill, St. Michael.

The injured persons were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulances.
