Soca Royale 2012 takes place on Sunday, 29th July at Bushy Park, St. Philip. The event commences at 11am and is scheduled to finish at 9pm.

To facilitate this event a number of temporary traffic arrangements will be in effect between 6am and 10pm.

  • ONE WAY

Bushy Park Road, from its junction with Congo Road to its junction with Parish Land Road, shall be a one-way street with traffic flowing in the direction of Parish Land.

  • NO PARKING

No person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on any of the following roads or the adjoining footpaths except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers:

Bushy Park Road from its junction with Congo Road to its junction with Parish Land Road, Congo Road, Padmore Village Road, Gaskin Road, Parish Land Road, Farm Road, Oughterson Road and Fairfield Road.

  • GENERAL
{FILE IMAGE – Yes, it’s Eagle Hall… It’s also Police directing Kadooment revellers} All persons using the roads mentioned shall exercise caution and shall comply with any order given by a member of the Police Force in uniform.

Any person who contravenes these rules or fails to comply with any order given by a member of the Police Force in uniform, is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction is a fine of $500 or to imprisonment for a term of 3 months.

These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Police Force, the Barbados Defence Force, the Barbados Fire Service or any other emergency vehicle.
