Since his self-titled debut album in 1987, Jamaica-born singer Wayne Wonder (real name Von Wayne Charles) has been responsible for an extraordinary catalog of reggae hits including “Saddest Day,” “Bonafide Love (Movie Star)” ft. Buju Banton, “No Letting Go,” “Love and Affection” and many more. He hit the national spotlight in 2003 when his album ‘No Holding Back‘ with its title track dominating urban radio in America and peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His success led him to national TV appearances, including a performance on Saturday Night Live. His later albums moved further toward hip-hop, which led to collaborations with numerous artists including Foxy Brown, Trina, TLC’s Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and CNN: Capone & N.O.R.E on the hit track “Anything Goes” for the Grammy-nominated Def Jamaica compilation.

His last album, 2007’s ‘Foreva,’ debuted at No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Top Reggae Albums chart. ‘My Way‘ will be his first album in six years released solely on Wayne Wonder’s label Singso Music.
