Two young Barbadian Males held on Cannabis Related charges

Wendell Omar Agard, 22 years of Kensington Lodge, Passage Road, St. Michael and Ryan O’Neal Burke 34 years of Niles Corner, Christ Church were separately charged for the following offences:

1. Possession of cannabis
2. Possession with intent to supply
3. Trafficking, and
4. Importation.

On June 28, 2012, Agard went to the Post Office at Cheapside, St. Michael to clear a box of assorted food stuff. The box was searched and 3 lbs of cannabis was discovered. He was arrested.

On June 29, 2012, both men appeared separately appeared at the District A Magistrate Court and they pleaded not guilty. They were each granted Bail in the sum of $10,000 with one surety and their cases were adjourned until November 29, 2012.

On June 25, 2012, Burke went to the Post Office at Cheapside, St. Michael to clear a box of food stuff. The box was inspected and 3 lbs of cannabis was discovered. Burke ran away and presented himself to the police later in the week. He was arrested and charged.
