Announcing the 1st Annual PEN Rally, hosted by the Parent Empowerment Network Saturday, June 09, 2012 – 1pm to 4:30pm, Artsplash, Hastings
This family-centered event answers the burning question – “What am I going to do with my child this summer?”
The 1st Annual PEN Rally will unite the wide range of youth-focused services and activities available in Barbados.
For the first time, the Parent Empowerment Network will be hosting these enterprises together in one place, so that potential customers (families with children!) can browse, interact with suppliers of relevant products and services and get information, easily and for free!
The 1st Annual PEN Rally will take place on Saturday, June 09, 2012 at Artsplash, Hastings, opposite Hastings Rocks. Admission is free to the general public, as we encourage all families to come out and see what is available for them this summer and beyond. We ask only that the public bring along a donation to the PAREDOS Food Bank. We will be collecting non-perishable food items for this cause, with the support and help of strategic partners, Supreme Counselling.
Doors open to the public at 1pm, and will close at 4:30pm, and we expect thousands of people to pass through. Artsplash has considerable expertise in hosting this type of event, and there is ample parking nearby on Hastings Main Road and in the Skyway Plaza car park. It is located on several bus routes, and is close to Bridgetown.
A wide variety of participants will be taking part: Advantage Tennis Services, Jus’ Swim, Youth on Stage, Camp Transitions, Artsplash themselves, Whole Lotta Pampering, All That Glitterz, Funbusters and Rashajamqun 24 Hour Day Care, Hopscotch Treats, Nurtrilfe & Legacy Products, E-Zee Cuisine, LRN2Sail and Synchro Swim, Thinking Computers, Divi Southwinds & Ace Dance Studios, and Ethan’s Little Bunkers.
