THE RBPF APPEALS FOR INFORMATION ON SERIOUS BRIDGETOWN ACCIDENT

The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) is conducting an investigation into an accident which occurred on Wednesday 16 May 2012, about 6:15 pm on John Beckles Drive, Bridgetown. It occurred close to the junction with River Road.

Clifton Glasgow, 80 years of Taylor’s Gap, Martindales Road, St. Michael was struck by a Route taxi driven by Clifton Gooding of Ruby, St. Philip.

{N.B. - FILE IMAGE ONLY, NOT VEHICLE IN QUESTION NOR LOCALE} Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact 430-7630; 7676 or 7168. They can also go to the Central Police Station.

Mr. Glasgow suffered head injuries and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is reported to be in a very serious condition.
