is looking to repeat its 2011 feat by once again capturing the “” crown.
Featuring a total of six sections, one more than that which hit the road last year, this year’s band goes by the theme “Faces of Paradise”, depicting the multiplicity of cultures which make up the Barbadian people.
Launched last week, “Faces of Paradise” is one of the earliest bands to commence registration this year, which has been a trend for the promoters, Lucky Horseshoe & Jump Kadooment Band, over the last few years.

This ensures all new and returning revellers have sufficient time to sign up for one of the six, Bds $500 All Inclusive sections; Islanders, Wok Up, Tribal, Kuchela, Caramba and Adventurers, ahead of what is expected to be another fantastic Kadooment Day jump.
Paul Johnson, President of , owners and operators of Lucky Horseshoe restaurants and Jump Kadooment Band 2012 said the band’s growth and success over the years is a true testament to the loyalty of its returning revellers:
“After only just five years on the road we have become one of the more popular and successful Kadooment Bands, an achievement made possible by the great support of our many repeat revellers who come out and enjoy this wonderful festival with us each and every year. This support has given us the confidence to increase the size of the band and we will certainly be once again vying for the “Large Band of the Year” title.”
Helping to drive increased interest in the band are the wonderful and colourful designs created by new designer “Naomi Springer”, who brings a fresh approach to the band’s look and feel this year.
In the lead up to Kadooment Day on 6 August 2012, Lucky Horseshoe and Jump will be hosting Band Limes each and every Thursday from 7 June 2012 at the band’s new Crop Over Spot on Spring Garden Highway with Three Band fetes being held in July.
