A Night of Contemporary & Sacred Music in Bridgetown; featuring A Soloist, A Sax, A Steel Orchestra & A Choir

Joyce Olton is a Barbadian Soprano trained in Barbados under Doris Provincal and furthering her training in Toronto Canada at the Royal Conservatory of Music. She attributes her melodic voice to hard work and several years of practice on the local Church Circuit. Through this circuit here and abroad Ms Olton has been able to hone her skills and pick up quite a large following on the way.

Ms Olton has performed successfully here before. Notably at Frank B Collymore Hall, Harrison College School Hall and several Churches. Several venues are on her list of performance spaces in Toronto. Accompanying Ms Olton will be Pianist Ann Lascelles and Andrew Allman. Internationally known saxophonist Rupert Williams who need no introduction, St Leonards Boy Choir who is of similar notoriety and Calvary Steel Orchestra, a Church ensemble known in their own right.

(CLICK FOR BIGGER) The concert takes place 6:00 pm at Calvary Moravian Church on Roebuck St, Bridgetown. Tickets are $40 available from CS Pharmacy, ESSO Tiger Mart Paynes Bay, or Paul Doyle via facebook or at paulydofmonopoly@yahoo.com
