Barbados’ Transport Board will be implementing a Hub and Spoke (transfer system) operating from the Speightstown Terminal. Effective April 15th, all passengers travelling to select locations in the north of the island, will be transported from the Princess Alice Terminal to the Speightstown Terminal on the Connelltown and Speightstown services ONLY.

{FILE IMAGE VIA: Flickr's GeminiExplorer2} Bear in mind the Connelltown service will not require a transfer at the Speightstown Terminal. Please work with the Transport Board as they strive to serve you better. Always remember “You are in Safe hands with us”.

Persons will then transfer to the other services shown below to take them to their final destinations. This transfer system will initially be operational on Sundays and Public Holidays between 9.30 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. All services before 9:30 am to the North and the 11.00 p.m. and 12.05 p.m. services will depart from the Princess Alice Terminal as usual.

The services to be improved with this new transfer system are Boscobelle, Pie Corner, St. Lucy Church, Josey Hill, Indian Ground & Connell Town. Persons will travel on the Connelltown and Speightstown services from the Princess Alice Terminal to the Speightstown Terminal.

On arrival in the Speightstown Terminal passengers will be able to use the combined services to their final destination. The combined or otherwise affected services are:

  • Pie Corner/ Josey Hill
  • Boscobelle/Indian Ground
  • St Lucy’s Church
