The #Barbados #Water Authority is carrying out #repairs along the East Coast #service

The Barbados Water Authority informs customers along the East Coast currently affected by low pressure or a water outage that a 10-inch main in Newcastle has ruptured. Work crews are conducting repairs.

Affected areas stretch from Newcastle in St. John to St. Simons in St. Andrew and include Bathsheba, St. Elizabeth Village, Cattlewash, Belleplaine, Bawdens, Cambridge and surrounding areas serviced by the tanks at Ozone, Joes River, Haggatts and Bissex.

The Authority is also carrying out repairs to an 8-inch main at Josey Hill, St. Lucy. This burst main is affecting residents of Josey Hill, Lamberts, Rock Hall, Chance Hall, St. Clements and surrounding districts.
