Board Members, President, Pamala Proverbs (2nd From Left); VP Membership/ Marketing, Dr. Sharon Marshall (Extreme Right); VP Finance, Lynda Holder (2nd from Right); VP, Professional Development, Jackie Marshall-Clarke (Extreme Left); and Senior Delegate, Christal McIntosh (Centre), gave the students perspectives of traditional and social media in action within the Barbadian and global context.

Proverbs stated, “IABC Barbados was honoured to discuss careers with the senior students at the St. Michael School, who demonstrated significant interest in public relations as a profession. In time, we believe we can establish a student chapter on the island“.

Following the main presentations, the students formed small groups headed by each of the board members, where they could ask the communication professionals pointed questions on the topics presented.
