DRUGS, FIREARM SEIZURES AND ARRESTS – AS POLICE IN BARBADOS HOLD A WANTED MAN

An operation was carried out in Bridgetown on Saturday April 28, 2012 by various branches of the Force. Several warrants were executed at three (3) stores, two on Roebuck Street and one on Broad Street, and as a result the following seizures and arrests were made.

Trevor Dacosta Hurdle, 31 years of Uncle’s Place, Roebuck Street, St. Michael and Shamar Dacosta Weir, 18 years of Bay Gardens, Bayville, St. Michael were arrested and jointly charged for

1. possession of a .25 firearm and also for

2. illegal possession of a quantity of ammunition.

Zico Ronald Dupree, 26 years of Beckles Hill, St. Michael was charged for a small mall quantity of cannabis

Carlton Blagrove 34 years of Harts Avenue, Bayville, St. Michael was charged for the following offences:

01. Possession a controlled drug to wit cannabis (50 gms).

02. Trafficking.

03. Possession with intent to supply.

Kebarry Bryan, 17 years of Forde's Road, Christ Church was arrested and charged for the theft of a gold chain from a person.

WANTED MAN CAPTURED

Corey Omar McDonald Noel, 29 years old, of Joes River, St. Joseph, who was wanted, has been captured. He was held in Newbury, St George in the afternoon of Saturday April 28, 2012. Noel is currently being questioned in regards to several serious criminal matters.
