Sandridge Ltd. just revealed their recently purchased general insurance company CLICO International General Insurance Limited which is now Sun General Insurance Inc., bringing to an end the uncertainty surrounding staff and the future of the company.
“The rebranding to Sun General is a first step in positioning the company as a leading choice for insurance throughout the Caribbean” said Bernie Weatherhead, Sun General’s Chairman. “In the coming months our customers throughout the region will see our new brand reflected in our stationery, signage and advertising. Additionally, technology will play an important role in delivering a customer experience that is second to none.
According to the Chairman, “The strength of the company based on its geographic spread, solid insurance practices and the large variety of policies offered were key reasons for this purchase decision. Underscoring this were synergies with our group of companies, especially from a Caribbean perspective, along with the experience and dedication of the existing management and their team.”
