KFC’s Chicky Club Sends Members to World Kids Fair #charity #barbados #fastfoods #chicken #agriculture

Come this weekend 50 members of the popular Chicky Club will be having the time of their lives at the inaugural World Kids Fair being held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (LESC) thanks to KFC.

This is because KFC is offering free tickets to the first 50 Chicky Club members to register their names by contacting KFC’s head office before the two-day event being held Saturday March 24 and Sunday March 25, 2012.

One of the Fair’s sponsors, KFC is responsible for the much anticipated Kids’ Zone, the Fair’s largest activity centre featuring a variety of children’s favourites such as face-painting, jumping tents and rock climbing, among others, in addition to a registration booth for those wanting to sign up with the Chicky Club and of course appearances by Chicky himself who will available to take photographs with the many excited patrons.

Members of the Chicky Club will also receive a very special gift when visiting the Kids Zone, that of a free, limited edition X-men watch, which comes in colours suited for both boys and girls.

Recently, Marketing Coordinator at KFC, Shekelia Barrow, said this is just one of the many things KFC is looking to get involved with this year in an effort to enhance the activity within the club:

“We promised our members that this year we would be working towards increasing the activity of the Club and this is a promise we intend to keep. Children are very important to us as evidenced by our established partnerships with various schools across the island, as well as the frequent donations made to a number of worthy causes focused on the youth. We encourage all Chicky Club members to come out to this weekend’s event to have a “Sogood” time.”

The inaugural Fair promises to be full of thrills and excitement with patrons being treated to a variety of live stage shows, interactive activities, exhibitors and vendors, in addition to live demos all day.
