Global Directories/Barbados Yellow Pages are looking to strengthen their relationship with the St. Paul’s Primary School by embarking on the first of many support activities planned for this year.

Recently, Global Directories/Barbados Yellow Pages presented 100 tickets to the St. Michael school, enabling the school’s Class Three students to attend the upcoming World Kid’s Fair scheduled for Saturday March 24 and Sunday March 25, 2012 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

Pam Roach, Marketing Manager of Global Directories/Barbados Yellow Pages, said this forms part of the company’s commitment to working with the school since its decision to adopt the institution:

In an effort to develop a closer relationship with St. Paul’s Primary we have been exploring a number of areas where we feel we could lend valuable assistance, in addition to bringing some cheer into the lives of the students there. Although a small institution, St. Paul’s has proven itself to be one of the more successful schools on the island, achieving relatively high results at the annual Common Entrance Examination. Therefore, we at Global Directories/Barbados Yellow Pages are keen to assist the school with maintaining these results along with facilitating the overall growth and development of the students.”

In accepting the donation, Principal of the St. Paul’s Primary School, Mrs. Sandra Small-Thompson, said she is truly grateful for and looking forward to the assistance which will be coming from Global Directories/Barbados Yellow Pages:

We are very appreciative of the support being given by Barbados Yellow Pages, particularly given the fact that many children would not ordinarily have the opportunity to attend such events. The experience can also be used to enhance the students’ educational development, providing them with material to write about when they return to the classroom. We are excited about what is to come throughout the remainder of the year and look forward to a long-lasting partnership with the Barbados Yellow Pages.”

The lucky students who will be attending the inaugural fair will be treated to a variety of live stage shows, interactive activities, exhibitors and vendors, in addition to all day live demos.
